巨腾预计下半年笔记本收入比例将降至80
元器件交易网讯 7月16日消息，据外媒digitimes报道，笔记本的需求量日益减少，电脑外壳制造商已经把注意力转移到非笔记本产品线，试图减少市场冲击。电脑外壳制造商巨腾国际也期望2013年下半年平板业务的收入比例能从2012年的4-5% 增至20%，笔记本收入比例降至80%。
市场观察人士称，巨腾准备在八月为亚马逊Kindle Fire HD、谷歌 Nexus 7和微软新的Surface平板发行电脑外壳，但是巨腾并未对此事作出回应。
2014年，巨腾计划将笔记本业务收入比例降至70%。
2012年，大约80% 的巨腾笔记本外壳是用塑料制成的，但是，2013年，金属外壳的比例增至25-30%，2014年，塑料外壳的出货量将降至50%以下。（元器件交易网董蕾 译）

Chassis makers working on reducing notebook business contributions
Seeing notebook demand gradually weakening, chassis makers have turned their focuses to non-notebook product lines, trying to minimize the impact. Catcher Technology has successfully reduce its notebook product line"s revenue contribution to below 40% and the percentage is expected to rise slightly in the second half.
Chassis maker Ju Teng is also expected to see the revenue contribution from its tablet business rise significantly from 4-5% in 2012 to 20% in the second half of 2013, dropping its notebook business" proportion to only 80%.
Market watchers pointed out that Ju Teng is ready to ship chassis for Amazon"s Kindle Fire HD, Google"s Nexus 7 and Microsoft"s new Surface tablets in August. However, Ju Teng declined to comment about its orders.
In 2014, Ju Teng is aiming to further bring down its notebook business"s revenue contribution to 70%.
In 2012, about 80% of Ju Teng"s notebook chassis products were made of plastic, but the proportion of its metal chassis will rise to 25-30% in 2013. In 2014, the shipment proportion of the maker"s plastic chassis may fall below 50%.
